Insight often occurs when we are immersed in the natural world, traveling abroad, on retreat or while in treatment.
Expanded state experiences, when we feel most connected to ourselves and the world around us, have the power to inspire new growth in our lives and expose us to more possibilities for health & wellness than we previously could have imagined.
Having an extraordinary growth experience on solo or in a group is valuable in itself and a nice memory and/or story, but how do these experiences pragmatically impact our everyday lives and contribute to more balance, resiliency, empathy and wholeness?
Our internal patterns and beliefs about the world might shift temporarily while 'away', but this does not necessarily mean that our external reality/behaviors have transformed -- the lasting effect of personal growth work emerges during and by virtue of the integration process.
Wayfarer Wellness Integration provides 'a coaching relationship' that focuses on supporting clients in 'living out their personal truths' and 'new ways of being' discovered while away in the wilderness, after traveling abroad, on retreat or in treatment. Our intention is to 'fan the flame' and build on momentum gained through: Goal tracking & maintenance/refinement, accountability, executive functioning support, interpersonal connection/mentorship and providing opportunities for continued self-reflection and resourcing.

Hi, I'm Lee Nadeau, founder of Wayfarer Wellness Integration. I am a Masters Level Therapist, Wellness Coach, Wilderness Guide [WFR] and Teacher with 14 years of experience working with and advocating for the well-being of adolescents, young adults and their parents. I have worked for and volunteered with high schools, universities, non-profits and nature based therapeutic programs domestically & abroad since 2006 and have performed roles as: Teacher, Therapist, Mentor, Academic Coach, Ambassador & Admissions Director.
I am also a son, brother, uncle, friend, athlete, life-long student, lover of the natural world, traveler/adventurer, writer, home cook/amateur pizzaiolo and adoptive father to Lou. I believe in the wellness power of the natural world, interpersonal connection, contemplative education, goal-setting, exercise, conscious nutrition, traveling & adventure.
Lou is a young 'Emotional Support Dog' in training. Like many cattle dogs, she is very smart, outgoing, affectionate, sometimes stubborn and most happy outdoors off-leash. Lou inspires joy, playfulness, embodiment, presence, and honesty to all who cross her path.
We feel fortunate to have an outfitted camper van, which allows us to travel around the US and Canada to visit clients, friends and family.
